From stories told on your grandfather's knee, to emotive images we see on today's news, we have all been affected by war and conflict around the world.
Beside the more formal, 'curated' exhibitions created by museums across Scotland, the Remembering Scotland At War website has its own Community area.
This offers the opportunity for anyone to upload their own memories, photographs and films, illustrating again how war and conflict throughout the world has impacted on Scotland and ensuring that these personal stories are never forgotten.
Once visitors to the Community area have signed up, they may also comment on others' contributions, as well as add to the Forum or write a Blog.
It is hoped that individuals, schools and other community groups may contribute to this area of the site, allowing a far wider understanding of the impact of war and conflict on Scotland.
Join the community now to start sharing your memories, photographs, and videos.
