The West Highland Museum is commemorating the end of World War II with a small display of local photographs and artefacts.
The Remembering Scotland At War online museum is launched by Joanne Orr, CEO of Museums Galries Scotland, at Edinburgh Castle.
The RBLS along with the City of Inverness is celebrating Armed Forces Day this year with a Parade made up of military Past, Present and Future, including the Tri Cadet (this their 150th Anniversary year) Services, all in conjunction with a Traditional Highland Games (to which the Armed Services always played a large part) in the Northern Meeting Park.
A flag-raising event at Alloa Town Hall, organised as part of Armed Forces Day.
Dance the night away as part of the Royal British Legion of Scotland's event, organised to support Armed Forces Day.
