Mr Bill Reid was just 21 years old when he flew his tenth bombing mission to Germany on November 3rd, 1943, as captain of Lancaster bomber '0' for Oboe.

This exhibition, curated by Dysart Primary School, was part of the 2005 initiative, War Detectives, and tells his story.

War Detectives was a project that gave school children and community groups an opportunity to learn about the Second World War. Participating groups spoke to people who experienced war at first hand and investigated how their communities were affected and the impact war had on peoples' lives.

From their research pupils produced a series of digital resources that are available from this website.
